Jeff used his time to give a brief history of his working life and how he’s ended up doing what he’s doing now. He went to college for elementary education and graduated as the only male elementary teacher of his whole class. In order to pay off his student loans he joined the Army after graduation – working in schools during the school year and then with the Army when not at school. He rose to the rank of drill sergeant.

After meeting his soon-to-be wife Marianne he went to work for Marianne’s dad the owner of Vuolo Realty and learned the world of realty from a great teacher. He stayed with Vuolo Realty for 18 years. Over the course of the next few years he worked with a couple of other commercial agencies all the time increasing his knowledge of the industry.

In 2004 he started AmeriSource Realty with a partner from a previous employer and bought a building in Parsippany which he turned into offices for his company and Marianne’s mortgage company. The balance of the room in the building become a set of executive suites. Over the last 10 years he explained that he’d accomplished much more than in the previous 30 years including the purchase of a medical facility in Vermont and increased involvement with the New Jersey Realtors Association. In 2016 Jeff will be the acting State Treasurer for New Jersey Realtors.

Jeff’s talk finished with questions and answers from the chapter.
